From the port to the final door — Ad Hoc Logistics runs its own fleet for regional OTR hauls and final-mile delivery throughout Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Montana.
Once a container clears the terminal, the freight still has to reach its destination — and that handoff is where most shipments lose a day. We close the gap by running over-the-road and final-mile delivery on our own trucks. A box can be drayed off the Port of Seattle or Tacoma, transloaded onto a domestic trailer, and delivered to the receiver without a second carrier or a broker in the middle. One dispatch team owns the load from the dock to the door.

Because we also run container drayage, transloading and warehousing in-house, OTR and final-mile aren't a separate vendor — they're the last step of the same move. Import freight can come off the terminal, get unloaded and reworked at our Kent facility, and roll out for regional or final-mile delivery the same week, all under one invoice. That removes the handoffs where freight usually sits and claims usually start.
